The shop.
Anchor Plumbing & Drain runs residential plumbing service across its local market. The shop's focus on doorstep close rates makes it a natural fit for the TROVA pilot — Anchor's owner wanted real-time coaching, not post-mortem call scoring.
The problem.
Two patterns Anchor wanted to fix:
- Same-day close rate — too many drain calls turning into "I'll send you the quote tomorrow," and too many of those quotes going dark.
- Financing presentation — the financing option exists in the pricebook, but the rep forgets to bring it up consistently. ACCA data says that's worth an 11-point close-rate gap.
What we deployed.
- Wearable AI devices for residential service techs.
- Real-time coaching focused on financing-as-promotion and same-visit proposal close.
- Owner dashboard with Anchor-specific close-rate breakdowns.
- Conversation-aware follow-up writer for the deals that don't close same-visit.
What we're measuring.
- Same-visit proposal rate.
- Financing-mention rate per call (a coaching-effectiveness metric).
- Per-tech close rate against pre-pilot baseline.
- Average ticket lift on calls that closed same-visit vs. on deals that took 2+ follow-ups.
